Angel M. Jacobs

Jacobs (f/k/a Van Wieren), the only attorney at the Law Offices.
Ms. Jacobs was born and raised on the West Coast of Florida. She attended Manatee Community College and Florida Gulf Coast University and was awarded a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science. She then worked as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in Florida and Georgia before applying to part-time law school programs in 2004.
She was admitted to Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School as a part-time student, while still working full-time at Georgia Cancer Specialists as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist. She maintained her part-time attendance and full-time employment during her first year in law school, but then converted to full-time attendance and worked part-time for the remainder of law school.
Ms. Jacobs dedicates her practice to helping people manage financial pressures through debt negotiation, debt settlement and bankruptcy relief. She stays current with cutting edge and emerging issues of bankruptcy law by attending continuing education courses and national bankruptcy seminars. Ms. Jacobs has been taught by the nationally known O. Max Gardner, a consumer rights attorney in Shelby, North Carolina. Read more about O. Max Gardner here. Specifically, Ms. Jacobs attended the first Mortgage Foreclosure Boot Camp in September 2010 held in O. Max Gardner’s hometown, Shelby, North Carolina. Most recently, Ms. Jacobs completed O. Max Gardner’s nationally renowned Bankruptcy Litigation Model online training, which focuses on the intricate details of maximizing the benefits of bankruptcy, including holding creditors and debt collectors accountable for their actions.
